Developed a seminal digital broadcast advocating for food sovereignty and farmers’ rights. Facilitated engagement from 16 countries including India, the Philippines, and Zimbabwe.

L.A. Compost – Director of Development

Nonprofit management including fundraising, operations, and team development. Designed and oversaw the growth of decentralized compost infrastructure and food waste prevention education programs for climate resilience. Established multi-sector partnerships with the Department of Public Works, L.A. City’s Mayor’s Office, and private waste haulers. Launched a pilot government-funded compost program and set key milestones in the city’s Green New Deal policy. Coordinated with local and national advocacy and educational networks through a task force and as Chair of L.A. Food Policy Council’s Food Waste Prevention working group.

Start-up management for a precision agrotechnology company. Served as Quality Control Officer and Audit Officer for all compliance and certification requirements, and developed standard operating procedures compliant with OSHA, USDA GAP, GMP, and USDA Organic certification.
