our creatures

Creatures of the unknown ascend from the height beyond humans.
We on Earth recall and dismiss,
and repeat.

Ancestors of creatures,
infant and mature,
long for and seize opportunity.

My message was lost in a tree, in the light
that day I tried to make sense of it.

Beyond my knowledge,
I can see more of the lunacy, ideocracy,
allure.
We are never whole if we see ourselves as one.

My morning psyche follows the trails with no map,
as I forage and forage again.
Desire plays little games while necessity works with strategy.
Mountains upon mountains we weep alone
Oceans of lies to get closer

Our creatures frame, and our golden hearts thunder.
